Some of my favourite designs happen when I’m allowed to mix several leathers together on one strap, and the Greystoke Triple is exactly that kind of indulgence. The name is a nod to Lord Greystoke, better known as Tarzan, and with croc-effect leather and pony hair sharing the same strap, I think he’d feel quite at home in it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThis version brings together three distinct panels. There’s a glossy mock caiman croc in deep, rich burgundy, a second croc-effect panel in moody charcoal, and between them, soft pony hair (hair-on cowhide) in a smoky charcoal with a subtle violet cast. Where the panels meet, bold burgundy-red S-shaped cross stitching traces the joins, and that’s what brings the whole design to life. The colours and textures flow into one another and repeat along the strap, so there’s a real sense of movement from end to end: shiny against matt, scaled against soft, warm burgundy against cool charcoal. Run your hand along it and you get the whole story in one go.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eWith this much happening on the strap, I deliberately kept the buckle simple. It’s a gunmetal roller buckle with clean, softly rounded edges and a roller finished in a fine etched diamond texture. That bar adds a tactile detail, and it makes adjusting the belt beautifully smooth. The darker tone of the gunmetal ties in with the charcoal panels and lets the burgundy take centre stage.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eBurgundy and charcoal is a far more versatile combination than you might think, and that’s exactly why it’s worth stepping away from your usual black or brown. The charcoal grounds it, and the burgundy gives it richness and warmth. I’d wear it with dark indigo or black jeans, a grey knit and black Chelsea boots, or with a crisp white shirt and charcoal trousers for an evening out when you want a bit of swagger. Burgundy also loves navy, cream and forest green, so it’s easy to build around. It works well for both men and women. On her, it looks fantastic slung through black skinny jeans with an oversized grey jumper, or worn with a leather jacket and boots for a rock-and-roll edge. Let your outfit stay simple, because this belt has more than enough personality for both of you.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eNot only is the upper leather full grain quality, the lining is too.
