Wear it out to dinner and it will catch every flicker of light in the room, and quite possibly every eye too.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe leather is our Teyus, a full grain leather pressed with a fine lizard texture and finished with a gorgeous gold metallic sheen. In this golden brown colourway it’s full of movement, shifting from deep chocolate through toffee and bronze to bright, burnished gold, with the sheen shining strongest in the paler areas so the strap seems lit from within. All that tonal variety makes it surprisingly versatile, and endlessly intriguing to look at. Fastening it is our crystal interlock buckle, a looping, infinity-style knot in antique gold, its curves set with rows of smoky Swarovski crystals and tiny gold beads, with a darkened antique finish between them that makes every crystal shine. As the loops twist over and under one another, the crystals and the metallic leather play off each other beautifully, each one making the other sparkle a little more. It’s a true centrepiece, and the kind of buckle that turns an evening outfit into an occasion.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a belt for evenings, but don’t keep it locked away. At night, wear it at the waist of a simple black or chocolate dress, or with silk trousers and a cream blouse, and let it be your jewellery. By day, it brings warmth and texture to a camel coat, a cream knit or dark denim, especially in the darker months, and it carries beautifully into summer with white linen and bare shoulders. Gold, cream, black, chocolate and deep green all set it off perfectly.
