Rich olive and moss greens give it depth, while the paler areas shimmer with flashes of gold and soft teal, so the strap seems to shift colour like light through leaves. Fastening it is our sculpted wing buckle in antique gold, its feathers layered row upon row and darkened in the recesses so each one stands out, sweeping back from a curved arm set with a line of Swarovski crystals. The interplay between buckle and strap is what makes it work so well: the ridged, overlapping feathers echo the neat rows of scales in the leather, and the warm gold picks up the metallic glow running through the green. Texture on texture, gleam on gleam.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eForest green is one of the most rewarding colours to wear, and far easier than you might think. It looks superb with navy, camel, cream, chocolate and black, and brings real richness to autumn and winter dressing. It works well for both men and women. I’d wear it with dark denim, a black roll-neck and a leather jacket, or with charcoal trousers and a cream knit. On her, it’s fantastic with a camel coat and slim black trousers, or slung through relaxed jeans with a silk shirt and boots.
