In this golden brown colourway it shifts from deep, earthy brown to glowing bronze and gold, with the sheen shining brightest in the paler areas so the strap seems to flicker as you move. Set against it is our gothic cross buckle, and it’s a real statement piece. A pointed oval plaque in antique silver is engraved all over with flowing handwritten script, like a page torn from an old letter, and laid over it is a bold cross with curling, scrolled arms in a dark iron finish, edged in a burnt, rusty orange that echoes the warm tones of the leather. At its heart sits a single square-cut black Swarovski crystal. Silver and iron, script and scroll, metallic leather beneath: the colours and textures flow together beautifully, and the whole thing feels a little bit rebellious and a little bit romantic.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a belt that brings instant edge to whatever you’re wearing. It works well for both men and women. I’d wear it with black jeans, a band tee and a leather jacket, or with dark denim and a charcoal roll-neck for something a touch more grown-up. It also makes a brilliant contrast with something softer, like a cream knit or a crisp white shirt.
