Across the strap the tone shifts gently from paler honey to deeper caramel, and the quills stand out in a rich, darker brown, each one raised slightly from the hide with its own soft shine against the more matt leather around it. Scattered naturally along the strap, no two belts are ever patterned alike. It’s the sort of tonal variety you only find in a natural skin, and it’s exactly why ostrich has remained a timeless choice for smart and smart casual dressing alike.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe buckle is made from solid brass in an antique finish, and you’ll feel the quality straight away. I gave the frame a bevelled, sculpted shape, with edges that rise and dip gently so the light plays across them as you move. Pair it with tan suede loafers or brown brogues to pick up its warmth.
