There’s something undeniably magnetic about our stingray belts—people are drawn to them as soon as they see them in store. The first reaction is often tactile: a hand reaches out to touch, curious about the texture, puzzled by the shimmer. And it’s no wonder—stingray leather is unlike anything else. Its surface is made entirely of dense cartilage, giving it that signature pebbled, glistening look. To transform it into something wearable, we polish the skin to reveal more of its natural patterning as well as the white of the cartilage while softening it just enough for comfort. The result is this incredibly striking texture, subtly two-toned where the central "eye" and surrounding areas absorb colour differently.
