Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

Do you own a Khaki green belt? If not then you are missing a trick as this tone of belt is both remarkably versatile whilst also refreshingly different and not run of the mill. If you want to embellish an outfit with a belt that has understated character and distinctive signs of craftsmanship our Flynn design belt is a wonderful option.  This is a design that first made its appearance the year we opened for business and it has been a stalwart in our collection ever since, updated over the years but still current. The raised and stitched central welt that repeats onto the tip gives the style a slightly casual sporty feel and the hand burnished vegetable tanned leather although smart is quite understated and natural in feel with its subtle darker shades around the edges and welt. We've opted for this fabulous aged gold finish buckle to give the belt an extra layer of charm and style - with its elongated front flange and wire texture edges we love the way this buckle works with the khaki leather below. It gives the belt a nice weighty look and feel with tons of warmth. I see customers wearing this belt with both work and casual attire and in each case it looks perfectly suited to its surroundings. This is a great starter belt if you are looking for something you can use for a variety of occasions - great on chinos, linen or dark brown tones and very cool if you are wearing Khaki/Camouflage tones to give a tone on tone look. A superb alternative to traditional dark brown!

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
