Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

There are belts made for those who look, and belts made for those who truly see. The Costello (named fondly after the eponymous star of Abbott & Costello fame) has always rewarded closer inspection — and nowhere does it reveal itself more beautifully than in this rich dark brown. The hand-tanning and individual hand-burnishing process creates a depth of colour that shifts from warm chestnut at the centre to deep, dark chocolate at the edges, a tonal complexity that no machine process can replicate and that only improves with age and wear. The brogue-inspired circular perforations running the full length of both edges frame the leather with a quiet craft reference that feels entirely at home in this colour — brown and brogue having a long and distinguished shared history in the world of fine leather goods. The aged gold arrowhead prong buckle is the natural companion here. Warmer and richer in tone than its silver counterpart, the aged gold finds an immediate affinity with the honeyed depths of the burnished leather — the two sitting together with a mellow, earthy harmony that feels completely right. The arrowhead front edge gives the belt its distinctive forward flow, setting it apart from any conventional buckle form. Handcrafted in our Spanish atelier, this is the Costello at its most characterful. How to wear it: The brown belt the wardrobe has been waiting for. Exceptional with tan, camel, olive, and earthy tones — and equally at home with navy, grey, or tweed for a classic country-to-city look. Smart enough for tailoring, relaxed enough for the weekend. Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
