Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

Some designs come back because they were always right. This black vertical cut vegetable tanned leather — first loved in 2009 and now rightfully revived — returns here in a pairing that feels entirely of the moment.The leather is the reason people always came back to this belt. Supple and beautifully conditioned through the traditional vegetable tanning process, it carries a surface of fine vertical cuts — linear, almost architectural, giving the deep black hide a depth and quiet movement that flat leather simply cannot replicate. A texture that rewards close attention. The more you look, the more you see.And then there's the buckle. I'll be honest — the moment I saw this one I knew it belonged here. The large rectangular cold enamel face carries a concentric relief pattern — rectangle within rectangle, receding towards the centre like a labyrinth, or perhaps a bird's eye view of something ancient and geometric. The matt gunmetal finish keeps it cool and understated, while the deep smoked enamel gives each receding level its own subtle tone and shadow. Is it graphic design? Architecture? I'm not entirely sure it matters — it works, and it works completely.Whether the connection between the vertical linearity of the leather and the geometric precision of the buckle is deliberate or simply instinctive is probably a question only you can answer when you're wearing it.Handcrafted by hand in our small Spanish atelier — the kind of place where belts are still made one at a time, by people who care deeply about getting it right.How to wear it: All black or charcoal — this belt earns its keep in a tonal context where the textural conversation between leather and buckle can really be appreciated. Equally strong with raw denim and a white shirt for a look that feels effortlessly considered. A belt that says everything without trying.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
