Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Some designs deserve a second chapter. This black vertical cut vegetable tanned leather — first loved in 2009 for its distinctive linear surface and supple, beautifully conditioned depth — is one of them. And today it is joined by a buckle returning from its own hiatus, last seen around 2016 and missed ever since.Together they make a compelling case for the archive.The buckle is one of those designs that rewards the question — simple or not simple? The answer, satisfyingly, is both. A smooth, softly rounded oval outer frame in aged gold creates a clean, uninterrupted border that sits against the vertical cut leather with an almost meditative calm — that smooth surface acting as a deliberate pause between the linear texture of the leather and the richly worked inner edge of the frame. And that inner edge is where things get genuinely interesting: a deeply cast, organic texture running the full interior border of the oval, its surface somewhere between bark and rock and the natural world at its most elemental.The open centre frames the black leather below like a window — the vertical cuts visible within the oval, the belt breathing through the buckle in the way that only an open frame design allows. It takes the visual weight entirely out of the piece, giving something of real substance an almost airy quality that I find endlessly pleasing. Is that a contradiction? Perhaps. But the best things often are.The aged gold warms the deep black leather beautifully — the two sitting in a rich, considered contrast that feels both classic and completely contemporary.Handcrafted in our Spanish atelier, this is a belt worth the wait.How to wear it: The black leather and aged gold make this one of the most versatile belts in the collection — equally at home with dark denim and a relaxed shirt as with tailored black trousers and a blazer. Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
