All the way back in 2009 we had a fortuitous meeting with sculptress Marcela Ganly whose body of work focuses predominantly on the animal world. However, our mutual passion for belts inspired us to try and adapt her wonderful sculpting skills and our design experience to suit the rather smaller format of a belt buckle. Several months and many trips to the foundry later we came up with our first collection of bronze and alpaca (German silver) buckles, each one limited edition signed and numbered. This growling tiger with its 3 dimensional feel seems to be coming out of the buckle. It makes for a statement piece that truly looks like a work of art. Numbered, Limited edition of 100 pieces. * Please note that these buckles are hand cast from wax and hand finished - no two buckles will ever look or be quite the same so please understand that there will likely be colour/patina variances from the image shown.

How it's made
Buckle making remains a remarkably traditional skill with most of our designs initially crafted by hand in wax before being melted away to create a mould from which we can cast your buckle. Once cast the buckle is then sent away for the galvanic process which gives it its colour and then any additional details such as enamel or crystals are applied by hand. Whether being made in Italy, France, Mexico, USA or the UK the techniques used remain the same.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
