This creation artfully combines two different leathers - a weathered, tumbled nubuck along with a soft pimple texture napa. The leathers are brought together with quadruple stitch detail, mixing 3 tonal colours together to act as a contrast against the mix of soft beige and stronger chestnut. The curved tip shape is innovative and gives the belt a wonderful fluidity whereas the cambered edges are soft and supple. Our choice of a relatively classic buckle was driven by a desire to use a finish that would tone harmoniously with the belt colours - this burnished brass finish does just that - whereas the elegant shaped buckle with its slim lines is very much in keeping with the elegance of the belt below. The end result is a really sleek looking belt that shows off its artisanal roots in a chic, contemporary way. Worn in summer on linens or white this will be ideal and then as we shift into autumn the textures and colours will be ideal on earthy tones and heavier materials such as wool and of course denim.
