All the way back in 2009 we had a fortuitous meeting with sculptress Marcela Ganly, whose body of work focuses predominantly on the animal world. Our mutual passion for belts inspired us to explore whether her extraordinary sculptural talent — and our design experience — could be adapted to the smaller, more intricate format of a belt buckle. Several months and many trips to the foundry later, we unveiled our first collection of bronze and Silver Plated buckles, each one a limited‑edition piece, signed and numbered. This collaboration laid the foundation for a series of sculptural designs that continue to define our most characterful creations today.
