Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

Some pairings make immediate, obvious sense. And then there's this one — which shouldn't work on paper and absolutely does in reality.The clay mock ostrich leather is soft, organic, sun-warmed. The buckle is gothic silverwork — a large rectangular filigree frame of intricate lattice scrollwork, pierced and open, with a bold cross motif rising from the centre in sharp, architectural relief. The two inhabit completely different worlds. And yet something in the contrast makes the combination genuinely compelling — the warmth and texture of the leather providing exactly the right foil for the cool, precise drama of the silver. Each one makes the other look better than it would alone.Look closely at the buckle and there's real complexity in there. The filigree background is a flowing tangle of scrolls and curves — organic, almost botanical — while the cross sits over it with a harder, more structural energy. The open pierced construction means the clay leather shows through behind the metalwork, grounding the whole composition and preventing it from feeling too heavy. It is gothic in its references, certainly — but worn with the right lightness of touch it reads as contemporary and completely individual.This is a belt that makes a statement. Whether that statement is worn loudly or quietly rather depends on what you put with it.Handcrafted in our small Spanish atelier, where belts are still made one at a time by people who care deeply about getting it right.How to wear it: White linen or cotton for maximum contrast and drama — the silver against pale fabric is spectacular. Equally strong with black for a harder, more gothic edge. A belt for those who aren't afraid to be noticed.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
