Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

There are buckles that accessorise a belt, and then there are buckles that are the reason for the belt's existence. This is firmly the second kind. The clay mock ostrich strap — with its clouded, organic finish and those darker quill dots shifting across the surface — provides the perfect canvas. Warm, textural, unhurried. But it's the buckle that stops you in your tracks. A large oval form set entirely with hand-placed Czech glass cabochon stones in turquoise, moonstone and soft blue, interspersed with Swarovski crystals that catch the light between the larger stones like tiny points of brilliance. No two stones are the same size, and that's entirely the point — the organic, almost botanical arrangement of the cabochons gives the buckle a quality that feels gathered rather than manufactured. Like something washed up on a shoreline and set in silver. The open centre is a decision I'm particularly pleased with. Rather than filling the frame completely, the stones form a wreath around the leather beneath — the clay ostrich becoming part of the composition, visible through the heart of the buckle. It breathes. It's generous. And it means the belt and buckle exist as one object rather than two things competing for attention. Turquoise on clay is one of those combinations that just feels like summer — light, airy, and completely effortless. The cool blue-green of the stones against the warm, faded ground of the leather creates a contrast that is striking without being harsh. Handcrafted in our small Spanish atelier, where belts are still made one at a time by people who care deeply about getting it right. How to wear it: This is a women's belt made for summer dressing — white linen, cream cotton, soft denim. Let the buckle do all the talking and keep everything else simple. A piece that transforms an outfit the moment you put it on.

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
