Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

There are combinations that you arrive at logically, and combinations that you arrive at by instinct and then spend time justifying afterwards. This is firmly the latter — and I think it's all the better for it.The leather is mock ostrich in a warm clay tone, but describing it simply as clay doesn't quite do it justice. The finish has a clouded, almost weathered quality — the colour isn't solid, it fades and shifts across the surface in a way that feels entirely organic and unhurried. The darker quill dots punctuate this softly shifting ground with their own rhythm, adding contrast and that immediately recognisable ostrich character without ever feeling heavy. It's a leather that looks like it's been somewhere.The buckle is where things get interesting. We chose a rust effect finish — that deep, warm iron tone — and I'll admit it raised an eyebrow or two when I first suggested it. But against the cloudy clay leather and the darker quills, it just works. The slightly irregular, organic quality of the rust finish finds a natural kinship with the imperfect, faded character of the leather. And the diamond texture covering the buckle surface adds another layer of connection — a geometric pattern that echoes, however loosely, the dotted quill rhythm of the ostrich below. Whether that reads as deliberate or simply as two good things finding each other rather depends on how closely you're looking.At 30mm this is a narrow, elegant belt — light, understated, and perfect for the kinds of days when everything should feel a little easier.Handcrafted in our small Spanish atelier, where belts are still made one at a time by people who care deeply about getting it right.How to wear it: Made for summer — linen trousers, cotton chinos, light denim. The clay tone works beautifully with white, ecru, sand and olive. A belt for the kind of days that deserve something a little out of the ordinary.

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
