Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

For the man looking for a stylish Tan/Cognac belt with some understated character and distinctive signs of craftsmanship our Open Plate Flynn design belt is a wonderful option. This is a belt design that first made its appearance the year we opened for business and it has been a stalwart in our collection ever since, updated over the years but still current. The raised and stitched central welt that repeats onto the tip gives the style a slightly sporty feel which is then counterbalanced by the very chic and elegant Dadino texture leather we have used. This leather with its subtle sheen and hand burnished finishing that reveals darker and lighter tones within the leather is smart and understated but ups the ante compared to traditional smooth leathers. The addition of our satin gold finish plate design buckle adds an additional dimension to this belt. The soft brass tone gives the belt a warm, mellow look whilst the smooth edges and curved open face design frame the leather below. It makes for a belt that will catch the eye without being flashy. The Dadino texture with is cross hatch design makes this belt suited for most occasions, maybe not ultra formal, but everything else, from workwear through to smart casual attire and in each case it looks perfectly suited to its surroundings. This is a great starter Tan belt if you are looking for something you can use for a variety of occasions that is also not a run of the mill design. The multiple leather tones make it particularly versatile for pairing with a variety of shoe colours.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
