Damascus Steel Arrowhead Prong Buckle 35mm

All the way back in 2009 we had a fortuitous meeting with sculptress Marcela Ganly, whose body of work focuses predominantly on the animal world. Our mutual passion for belts inspired us to explore whether her extraordinary sculptural talent — and our design experience — could be adapted to the smaller, more intricate format of a belt buckle. Several months and many trips to the foundry later, we unveiled our first collection of bronze and Silver Plated buckles, each one a limited‑edition piece, signed and numbered. This collaboration laid the foundation for a series of sculptural designs that continue to define our most characterful creations today. This buckle is a striking fusion of craftsmanship and contemporary design. Made from Damascus steel, its surface reveals the distinctive layered patterning that gives the material its almost wood‑grain texture — subtle, organic, and unmistakably artisanal. The arrowhead‑inspired silhouette adds a dynamic, architectural edge, giving the buckle a sense of direction and purpose.The Satin Silver sandblasted finish softens the steel’s natural complexity, creating a matte, tactile surface that feels modern and understated while still allowing the Damascus pattern to whisper through. Brass and steel cross‑bars introduce a contrasting warmth, highlighting the handcrafted nature of the piece and adding depth to the overall composition.At 35mm, this buckle offers a balanced presence — bold enough to stand out, yet refined enough for everyday wear.
