Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

Some belts you buy because you need one. And then there are belts like this. Garland is named for Judy Garland — the voice, the presence, that particular kind of warmth that never once felt safe — and T Moro pony hair is not a subtle proposition either. I wouldn't want it to be. But let me tell you why I keep coming back to pony hair as a belt material, because it's not just about colour. Hair-on cowhide adds a layer of texture to an outfit that no smooth leather can replicate. The way the coat lies flat along the strap, the way it catches and reflects light differently to everything else you're wearing — it introduces a tactile dimension that makes the whole outfit feel more considered, more alive. Dressmakers have known this for decades. It's why pony hair keeps appearing in the collections of the best fashion houses. In this rich T Moro tone it has a depth and warmth that feels almost like polished mahogany — dark, complex, never flat. What sets the Garland apart is in the construction. Look at the edge of the strap and you'll see a smooth leather piping running the full length — a garland edge that gives the belt a sleekness and definition that raw-cut leather simply doesn't have. It's a detail that tells you something about how this belt was made and by whom. The buckle takes its shape from equestrian stirrup design — an open, oval-into-rectangle frame in aged gold that lets the pony hair show through its centre rather than covering it. Where a brighter finish might fight with a tone this deep, satin gold does the opposite: it draws out the warmth already sitting in the leather, so the two feel like they were made for each other rather than simply paired. Wear it with jeans year round. Against tan or brown leather goods it settles in immediately, and in summer, worn against white or cream, that T Moro depth and aged gold glow is a combination that looks like you thought about it for much longer than you did. Made one at a time in our small Spanish atelier, by people who understand that the right finish on the right buckle is never an accident.

Exactly what was promised

I ordered 2 of these, black and brown, with 3 buckles, gold, silver and one rather ornate one. the order arrived and i now have a complete "arsenal" of belts and buckles to fit every outfit. the leather is silky smooth and soft, exactly as promised, both lining and outer are full grain. being my first full grain belts i am excited to see how they develop in time!
