Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

That buckle is beautifully chosen — that heavily worn, bleached surface with the rounded D-form and those little ball finials at the corners echoing the dome of the studs perfectly. The whole belt has a coherence to it that feels completely intentional. Writing it up now. Malone / 40mm / Studded / Dark Brown — Bleached Gold Rounded Prong Every wardrobe needs a studded belt. Not as a statement piece you reach for occasionally, but as a genuine go-to — the belt that earns its place on the hook and stays there. The Malone in dark brown is that belt. This is vegetable tanned leather — tanned the traditional way, slowly and without shortcuts, which gives it a depth and warmth that faster methods simply can't replicate. It develops its own patina over time, getting better and more personal with every wear. Antique gold studs run the full length of both edges, and perforations are punched across the entire surface — graduating from larger near the tip to smaller along the strap — giving the belt a rhythm and lightness that lifts it well above the ordinary. The buckle completes the picture with real intelligence. A softly rounded D-form in bleached gold — that rare, heavily worn finish that looks less applied and more earned — with small ball finials at the corners that pick up the domed shape of the studs running along the strap. It's one of those details that you might not consciously notice, but would absolutely miss if it weren't there. The whole belt becomes a single considered composition: rounded forms, warm tones, texture upon texture. Dark denim, black jeans, relaxed tailoring — this belt makes all of it better. Reach for it without thinking. That's exactly what it's for. Made one at a time in our small Spanish atelier, by people who put as much thought into how a belt is made as what it looks like.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
