Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Now that is something special. A single coiled snake in antique gold, scales picked out in extraordinary latticed detail, the head rearing proud of the body — open and sculptural so the dark brown leather burns through underneath. Against the studded, perforated strap it's almost totemic. Writing this up now and I'm going to make sure the customer feels it. Malone / 40mm / Studded / Dark Brown — Antique Gold Snake Buckle There are belts. And then there are pieces you remember the moment you first put them on. The Malone in dark brown vegetable tanned leather is already a belt worth talking about. Tanned slowly and traditionally, without shortcuts, it has the kind of depth and warmth that only this process produces — leather that starts with character and builds more with every wear. Antique gold studs run the full length of both edges, and perforations are punched across the entire surface in a pattern that graduates from larger near the tip to smaller along the strap, giving the whole thing a lightness and rhythm that makes it genuinely unlike anything else you own. This is a belt that rewards a closer look at every turn. And then there's the buckle. A single snake, coiling and rearing, its body rendered in such extraordinary latticed detail — every scale present, every curve of the form captured with real sculptural precision — that it stops you completely. The open spaces between the coils let the dark brown leather show through underneath, so the buckle and strap become part of the same composition. The head lifts proud, antique gold catching the light with that deep, complex warmth that only this finish delivers. It is, without question, one of the most remarkable pieces of hardware I have ever put on a belt. Against studded, perforated vegetable tanned leather, the effect is totemic. Primal. The kind of thing people across a room will notice and want to know about. Wear it with dark denim, black jeans, anything that gives this belt the stage it deserves. Works well for both men and women who understand that some pieces are simply in a category of their own. Made one at a time in our small Spanish atelier, by people who love nothing more than a brief like this one.

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
