Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

If this belt caught your eye I am thrilled as not only is the leather one of our latest innovations that we love this tonal partnership with our sleek interlocking C buckle! Here at Elliot Rhodes we have a long history of making croc effect belts in all sorts of designs…but this is the first time we have successfully incorporated the texture into a wonderfully soft and tactile nubuck finish leather. The croc effect is as evident as ever but the warm nubuck finish really gives a soft, subtle look and feel to the belt. But this belt is so much more than that... paired up on this occasion with our matt gunmetal finish interlock design buckle adds contemporary style to the belt. The light, airiness of this design with its slim edges almost acts as a frame to the leather below, allowing the texture of the belt to show through and contrasting with the smoothness of the metal. But it is the matt gunmetal finish which brings it all together - the dark tone picks up on the Espresso tone of the leather to create a tonal look that is rich, mellow and distinctive. It really is a special belt that can be used in a variety of ways - ideal for adding interest to casual or smart casual outfits, lovely for adding a layer of texture on anything from denim to wool to knitwear to cotton to linen, both in winter and summer. Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
