Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Bogart / 40mm / Teyus Tegu / Skorpion / Fudge / Aged Gold Prong Buckle If you've been thinking about upgrading your brown belt — and let's be honest, most of us have one that's been doing rather too much heavy lifting for rather too long — then let me show you something that does everything your brown belt does, and then some. The Teyus Tegu in our Skorpion finish is full-grain leather stamped with a beautiful mock lizard pattern, then finished in a way that lets two tones live on the same surface — a deep chocolate brown grounding the strap while a warm fudge and burnt orange breaks through across the lizard scales, the contrast amber stitch running the edge tying the whole thing together with a flash of warmth. It is the kind of leather that rewards a proper look. The closer you get, the more it gives back. This time I've paired it with a clean aged gold prong buckle — a gently rounded rectangular form with softly curved upper edges that give it a quiet elegance without fuss or flourish. A clean, smooth surface with nothing to detract from the simple warmth of the aged gold finish, just sitting against that beautiful two-tone leather and letting it do exactly what it wants to do. And what it does is bring out every bit of warmth in the Skorpion finish — the fudge tones deepening, the burnt orange lifting, the whole belt feeling richer and more generous because of it. Sometimes the most considered choice is the simplest one. That fudge tone is almost exactly the shade of the contrast stitch you find on most good denim, which means worn with jeans it just clicks into place in a way that feels completely effortless. With tan, camel or olive it settles into a warm palette beautifully. It adds real colour without anyone feeling remotely nervous about it. This belt works beautifully for both men and women — versatile, warm and quietly very special. These belts are made in our small Spanish atelier, where belts are still made one at a time by people who care deeply about getting it right.

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
