Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

There is nothing quite like a genuine python leather belt. Hard as we try to imitate this with normal leather the depth of colour, unique scale like texture and the supple feel is something truly special and unique. Of course, as a luxury product it also benefits from being coloured and painted entirely by hand, a process which epitomizes all that is wonderful about an artisanally crafted product like this where the focus is on the end result rather than the time taken to achieve it. This particular belt with its semi matt finish benefits from a creamy base leather colour with the scales then subtly gold flecked. This is a truly lovely belt colour, subtle but wonderfully original. On this occasion we have decided to leave the focus very much on the belt itself - so our buckle choice is a tad more conservative but that does not mean boring. In fact this fluted edge prong buckle in its aged gold finish is a wonderful complement to the leather below, picking up perfectly on the gold flecked scales. You end up with a superb belt that is really special...but to my mind really versatile as well. The neutral creamy base means it can work with any number of outfits, from denim through to colours, perfect for lifting a sober outfit in winter or for pairing up in summer with whites and neutrals. Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
