With this piece, I wanted to let the natural vibrancy of the leather take centre stage while pairing it with a buckle that adds warmth, balance and elegance. The python skin is hand-finished in an unexpected and totally striking blend of chartreuse yellow and rich violet — a pairing that feels bold, modern and just a little bit playful. The way the colour flows across the natural scales creates movement and complexity, making the leather feel alive with texture and tone.
To complement this vivid base, I chose our smooth tubular interlock buckle in an aged gold finish. Its clean, sculptural shape has a lightness to it — it’s airy, open and doesn’t overwhelm the leather beneath. The warm gold hue picks up on the golden notes in the python and adds a richness that brings everything together in a beautifully cohesive way.
