Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Some leathers earn their place in the archive. This is one of them.First loved in 2009, the vertical cut vegetable tanned leather returns because it was always too good to stay away. The surface carries a pattern of fine vertical cuts pressed into the supple hide — linear, almost architectural, giving the deep leather a quiet depth and movement that rewards close attention. The more you look, the more you see. It's a texture that is distinctive without being loud, characterful without being complicated.The vegetable tanning process gives the leather its exceptional quality. Traditional, unhurried, and free from harsh chemicals, it produces a suppleness that feels wonderful from the very first wear and only improves with time — developing a rich patina that makes each strap uniquely its own. This is leather that tells a story the longer you wear it.At 40mm this is a strap with a rugged, urban edge — at its best with grey or black denim, heavy cotton, worn leather jackets and the kind of wardrobe that values character over polish. It has the quiet toughness of something that has been properly thought about.When it comes to your buckle choice you have plenty of possibilities — the vertical linearity of the leather lends itself beautifully to geometric buckle forms, whether clean and contemporary like our labyrinth cold enamel piece, classic like the aged gold reef knot whose rope texture finds a natural kinship with the linear leather below, or something more architectural altogether. This is a strap that rewards a thoughtful buckle choice.Handcrafted in our small Spanish atelier.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
