Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

Back in 2004, for our very first collection, we came up with a belt design mixing hair on cowhide (pony hair) with mock croc leather. That style, going by the name of 'Weissmuller' has been with us ever since, recoloured into various incarnations, but always distinctive and edgy. This year we decided that a slight update was needed and in homage to Weissmuller (famous as an Olympic swimming champion but especially as the actor in the original Tarzan movies) this new incarnation is called 'Greystoke' (as in the Son of Tarzan...). The essence of the original design remains but has been updated with a new more fluid panel design and a sleeker tip shape. We are still using a mock croc textured leather but this time an Alligator Tail print and pairing it with tonal pony hair. The contrast of the two textures remains in our minds cool and different but by using matching tones the belt retains an elegance. By pairing it on this occasion with this aged gold hammered prong style buckle the deep blue tones of the belt get an extra lift - the buckle tone gives warmth to the belt, the textured metal adds additional three dimensionality whilst the Swarovski crystals make the belt 'pop' and give it extra lightness. It really does make for a distinctive belt that is full of character that could be worn both with casual denim or dressier eveningwear. An eye-catching style at all times and one that will turn heads!

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
