However, our mutual passion for belts inspired us to try and adapt her wonderful sculpting skills and our design experience to suit the rather smaller format of a belt buckle. Several months and many trips to the foundry later we came up with our first collection of bronze and Silver Plated buckles, each one limited edition signed and numbered. This new Dragon plate design was developed with the recent Year of the Dragon in mind and it is a truly stunning piece.  The way the dragon's head seems to appear from within the molten background as if from smoke or water gives it a mythical feel, whereas the dragon design itself with its texturing, spikey flesh, scaly detail and flared nostril brings this mythical creature to life. It makes for a statement buckle that will always draw admiring looks and truly looks like a work of art. Numbered, Limited edition of 100 pieces.
