This buckle design comes from a new collaboration with Native American jewellery craftsman Pat Pruitt. As a craftsman he is specialised in working in specialist metals that bring a sleek, modern, space-age feel to buckle design. This truly one-of-a-kind belt buckle from our 'Apollo' Collection is a bold expression of elemental beauty and cutting-edge industrial innovation. Conceived by Pat ain his New Mexico studio from a unique metal alloy fabricated in Ukraine, it features a custom laminate of Zirconium and Titanium – two of the rarest and most resilient metals known to man.   The metals are forge-welded under intense heat and pressure, then slowly cooled in a meticulously controlled environment. This gradual process allows the titanium's crystalline structure to expand from the microscopic, revealing intricate, iridescent patterns that shimmer and shift in the light. The vibrant hues emerge from the heat-induced oxidation of the titanium, while the back of the buckle displays the raw titanium crystal structure, stripped of its colour – offering a striking contrast and glimpse into the material's natural state.
