Handmade Wrapped Textured Snake Buckle 40mm

All the way back in 2009 we had a fortuitous meeting with sculptress Marcela Ganly, whose body of work focuses predominantly on the animal world. Our mutual passion for belts inspired us to explore whether her extraordinary sculptural talent — and our design experience — could be adapted to the smaller, more intricate format of a belt buckle. Several months and many trips to the foundry later, we unveiled our first collection of bronze and Silver Plated buckles, each one a limited‑edition piece, signed and numbered. This collaboration laid the foundation for a series of sculptural designs that continue to define our most characterful creations today. This Silver coiled serpent buckle is a striking continuation of that sculptural heritage — a bold, tightly wound snake captured in a moment of poised intensity. The serpent’s body loops into a compact coil, its head raised and alert, giving the piece a sense of tension and lifelike presence. Every scale is meticulously rendered, creating a textured surface that feels tactile and richly detailed. The Silver finish enhances the dimensionality of the design, with light catching the raised scales while deeper shadows settle into the curves of the coil.
