This very special buckle takes us back to the late 19th Century. It has been handcrafted from wrought iron salvaged from old wagon wheels long ago discarded on Zach’s farm. This iron has lovely history as it is pulled from authentic late 19th Century Winona Wagon Co. wagons. The surface texture and edges are wonderfully distinctive and totally natural - this is the original aged Iron as it comes and lovingly crafted by hand. It is then further embellished by having discarded barbed wire (taken from Zach's working farm after it has served its time) flattened by hammer and then forged to the surface. A limited edition collectors piece that is not only very cool to look at but also tells a wonderful story. Great with denim and for casual wear but don't be afraid to dress it up a bit too. The buckle has been slightly oxidized to give a mix of brown/blue/golden tones so very cool on a black/grey/blue belt or on browns and tans too. *Please note that these buckles are entirely handmade and no two will ever be the same - the buckle you receive may look a little different from the image*
