Once in a while we see a leather and just have to find a way to incorporate it into our collection. We discovered this leather a couple of years back and after first experimenting with more neutral metallic tones decided that this year it was time to take things a step further and add some real colour! So this season we give you a lipstick red mirror effect finish framed against a matt black background. It makes for a truly eye-catching belt that will bring any outfit to life in a really contemporary, distinctive fashion. Our preference with this leather is most definitely for a gunmetal finish buckle and to that end we have used our favourite shiny gunmetal roller buckle to add a stylish finishing touch to what is already a stunning belt. I really like the smooth buckle surface against the busier texture of the belt but the etched roller detail adds a nice alternative layer of texture. Of course the end result is a belt that will turns heads and be utterly distinctive. Wear this on a black outfit to add a splash of colour, pair it with denim or go contrast on white. This is a fun belt for day but I think will be at its best worn in the evening with a dressier outfit for a cool contemporary feel.
