Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

There are belts made for those who look, and belts made for those who truly see. The Costello (named fondly after the eponymous star of Abbott & Costello fame) has always rewarded closer inspection — and in this rich dark brown the hand-tanning and individual hand-burnishing process is at its most expressive, shifting from warm chestnut at the centre to deep chocolate at the edges with a tonal complexity that only improves with time and wear. The brogue-inspired circular perforations running the full length of both edges are a craft detail as at home in brown as they are in any colour — a nod to the great tradition of fine leather shoe-making that runs through the DNA of this belt entirely. And then there is the buckle that takes that conversation to a new level entirely. Cut from solid brass using precision CNC machining, this version pairs a satin silver outer frame with a satin gold inset flange finished with the same fine dimple pattern — reversing the tonal relationship of the gold-edged version with a two-tone contrast that feels fresh, considered, and deeply satisfying. The dimple texture finds its quiet echo in the circular perforations below, the two crafted surfaces in perfect dialogue. Handcrafted in our Spanish atelier, this is the Costello at its most distinguished. How to wear it: Exceptional across the full range of earthy, autumnal tones — tan, olive, rust, and camel all sit beautifully alongside it. Equally sharp with navy or charcoal tailoring for a classic brown belt moment done with real distinction. A belt for the man who appreciates that the details are everything.

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
