I wanted to take our matte black python — already strong, textured and quietly confident — and pair it with something that added storytelling, symbolism and serious edge. That’s where this limited edition buckle comes in.
Handmade for us by our friend and collaborator Marcela Ganly in Argentina, this buckle is cast in bronze and then silver-plated to create a beautifully aged finish. Only 100 of these will ever exist, and each one has its own unique personality thanks to the hand-finishing.
The design itself is packed with symbolism — a gothic-style cross at the centre, flanked by delicate sculpted roses and an intricately wrapped snake that coils through and around the piece. It’s dramatic without being flashy, with an almost talismanic quality that gives it depth and attitude. The contrast between the smooth, coiled snake and the raised floral details makes it feel rich and dimensional — something you want to keep looking at.
The matte python strap beneath it adds the perfect foundation. Python always brings movement and shadow with its natural scale pattern, and in black, it feels grounded and bold. I love how the buckle just sits into it — not fighting for attention, but becoming part of the whole story.
