If you know Elliot Rhodes then you will know we have a long history of working with a beguiling range of crocodile effect leathers. Of course the challenge is to keep innovating, playing with tone, texture and finish to create something fresh and distinctive. So this latest addition is one we bring you with great excitement as it takes one of our favourite prints but enhances it with a special gunmetal glaze that gives the leather a wonderful metallic hue that varies along the belt in its intensity. The belt as a consequence retains all the charm of a mock croc design but gives it a little bit of an edgy lift that differentiates it from its counterparts. This particular anthracite tone is wonderfully versatile with a mix of grey tones underscored with elements of bronze. This will of course make it the perfect companion to jeans, however its metallic hue makes it great for contemporary occasions and evenings when you want your belt to draw more attention. You can pair with black or grey but it will also work well on earthier tones which will bring forth the bronzy tones. Our thinking with the buckle was to go tonal, the satin gunmetal buckle finish subtly melding in with the tones of the leather for a great tone on tone look that keeps the focus squarely on the leather texture and tone.
