When designing this belt, I wanted to capture the feeling of light reflecting off deep ocean water — that sense of movement, depth, and mystery. The Metallic Ocean Genuine Python Interlock C Buckle Belt is the result: a piece that’s all about fluidity and bold refinement, with every detail considered to create balance and impact.
The python leather we used here has been hand-finished to bring out an incredible spectrum of ocean-inspired tones — rich navy, vibrant cobalt, and flashes of silvery blue that shift and shimmer as you move. I’ve always loved the natural texture of python; its distinctive scale pattern has a way of catching the light that makes it feel both luxurious and alive. With this belt, the finish is bold but controlled — something that can easily sit against crisp tailoring or elevate your favourite jeans.
The buckle is one of my favourite touches — a custom interlock 'C' design that feels sculptural yet soft. I was inspired by organic forms and wanted something that felt elegant and architectural at the same time. The tubular curves and open silhouette allow the leather to shine through, giving the whole piece an airy, layered feel. We chose a high-shine gunmetal finish to echo the darker notes in the leather and enhance the overall lustre.
