Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

This brand new belt design goes by the name of 'Herbie' - why you may ask? Well it's design is inspired by classic driving glove style which for some reason reminded me of the classic Disney movies featuring the loveable VW Beetle car with a mind of its own! So 'Herbie' it is...and I have to say the design of this belt is one that is as full of charm as its namesake little white Beetle. Made from a smooth thick Mid Tan unlined vegetable tanned leather the belt features a mix of punch out hole detail and micro perforation that when worn will allow the colour of your outfit below to poke through. With a stand out belt design like this it is sometimes best to let the focus remain on the leather - so on this occasion our buckle choice does just that. Our classic flange prong design is sleek and timeless with a nice weight that matches up to the feel of the belt. However, the clever twist is the use of the antique brass finish that gives the belt a tonal look that is not only warm with a vintage feel but also quite unique and really stylish. The end result is a really striking belt design that is full of rugged automotive charm, ideal for casual occasions, whether that be hitting the road on 2 or 4 wheels or simply adding some zest to your favourite denim.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
