Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

I'd wager a mint coloured belt isn't something you've given much thought to — but hear me out, because this one might just surprise you. There's something about the way the Africa Stone finish bleaches out the Teyus Tegu leather that gives it a softness you don't expect, a sun-faded, been-somewhere-warm quality that feels effortless rather than loud. The mint isn't shouting. It's just quietly making everything around it look better. The dimpled silver buckle picks up on the scaled texture of the leather in a way that feels entirely natural, and the whole thing takes me somewhere warmer the moment I look at it. Teyus Tegu is full-grain leather stamped with a fine mock lizard pattern — all the substance and longevity of quality leather, with a surface that has real character. The two-tone effect means no two belts will look quite identical, which I always think is worth something. We named this style after Lauren Bacall — and I think she'd have approved. There's that same quality of being entirely put-together without appearing to have made any effort whatsoever. For men, this works beautifully with chinos and a linen shirt for a proper summer feel, or try it threading through pale grey trousers to let the mint do something quietly unexpected. For women the possibilities are wider still — over a dress, through the loops of white jeans, or anchoring a palette of soft pastels and neutrals. It's the kind of belt that makes people ask where you got it. As ever, this belt has been made by hand in our Spanish atelier by craftspeople dedicated to beltmaking for generations. It takes time to work this way — but we think it's the right thing to do to get the quality we love and you deserve.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
