Once in a while we see a leather and just have to find a way to incorporate it into our collection. We discovered this mirror finish mock croc leather a couple of years back and have been experimenting with more and more metallic tones ever since. In all its versions (other than black which is more subtle) the metallic mirror highlights are framed against a matt black background and make for a really cool 'Monochrome' effect belt that is truly distinctive and will bring any outfit to life in a really contemporary, original fashion. When it comes to thinking of buckle pairing the key here is the finish - to my mind the belt will work best with a shiny or matt silver or gunmetal finish buckle - silver will work for obvious reasons whereas gunmetal will pick up on the black tones within the leather instead. You can opt for a classic buckle design to keep the focus on the leather but don't be afraid to try matching this strap up with something more exciting to create a true stunner of a belt. Whatever you choose the end result will always be a belt that turns heads and is utterly distinctive.
