Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

Cary Grant never seemed to be trying, and that was rather the whole trick of it — the ease was the point. I think about him whenever we work on this style, because that's exactly the note we're chasing: simple, casual, and elegant all at once, without ever looking like it took effort to get there. This new smooth vegetable tanned leather, unlined and with just a hint of sheen, fits that brief perfectly. It's a little less thick than some of our other unlined belts, which makes it extra soft and pliable, and noticeably lighter around the waist too. The slight gloss keeps it smart rather than rustic, and the rich cognac colour is warming and complex, carrying hues of both brown and orange rather than sitting as one flat tone — handle it a little and you'll start to see a lovely tonal pull-up effect that shows off just how good this leather really is. We've paired it with a burnished brass, bridle-style buckle, which gives the whole thing a mellower, more earthy feel than a polished finish would — understated rather than showy, and a natural match for the warmth of the cognac. Every belt is still handcrafted in our small Spanish atelier, where a small team takes the time needed to get details like this right rather than rushing them. This is a lovely belt for denim, sits perfectly against summer linens, and finds its footing just as easily in earthy autumnal tones — genuinely a belt for all seasons, and one you'll enjoy dressing up or down depending on the mood you're in.

Exactly what was promised

I ordered 2 of these, black and brown, with 3 buckles, gold, silver and one rather ornate one. the order arrived and i now have a complete "arsenal" of belts and buckles to fit every outfit. the leather is silky smooth and soft, exactly as promised, both lining and outer are full grain. being my first full grain belts i am excited to see how they develop in time!
