Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

Some names just say it all. And if you know who Joan Jett is — Queen of Rock and Roll, Godmother of Punk, the woman who made black on black a uniform for anyone who refused to play it safe — then you already understand exactly what this belt is about. The Jett is not a subtle belt. And it was never meant to be. A glossy black leather centre panel is framed on both edges by a rubberized pyramid trim — that tactile, contemporary edging giving the whole thing a layered, almost armoured quality that is completely its own. The rivets run the length of the strap with a quiet insistence that adds just enough rock and roll without tipping into costume. Up close it is more considered than you might expect — the combination of materials and finishes showing a level of craft and thought that makes this the rock and roll belt, made properly. And then this buckle. A coiled gunmetal snake, its body rendered scale by diamond scale, wrapping itself around the frame with a dark, sculptural energy that stops you in your tracks. The fumé Swarovski eyes catch the light with an unexpected flash — there and gone, like something alive. But here is what I really love about this combination: look closely and you will notice that the diamond scale pattern of the snake's body mirrors almost exactly the pyramid texture of the trim on the strap. It is not accidental. Texture talking to texture, dark metal talking to dark leather, the whole thing working together as one complete, considered piece. The kind of detail that makes you smile when you spot it. This belt works beautifully for both men and women. With an all-black outfit it is extraordinary — the kind of thing that makes people look twice and then a third time. With a leather jacket it is, frankly, the only belt you need. This is not just a belt. It is an attitude you can wear — and a dark, beautiful one at that. These belts are made in our small Spanish atelier, where belts are still made one at a time by people who care deeply about getting it right.

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
