Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

I think about the Rat Pack more than is probably healthy for a belt designer. Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr — those men understood something most people still haven't figured out, which is that cool isn't about being loud. It's a beautifully cut navy suit, and then one small thing that's just a little off-script — a pocket square that shouldn't quite work with the tie but does, a tan a shade too good for the room. That's the whole game. And it's exactly the game this belt is playing. Start with the base and it's pure classic: navy suede, soft and rich, the kind of belt that would have sat quietly correct under any of their tailoring. Then you spot it — a thread of red running through the stitching, and a run of perforated detail along the strap that catches the light when you move. That's the pocket square moment. It's the detail that turns a good belt into the one people ask you about, and I'd like to think Frank himself would have appreciated a man who noticed it. The buckle keeps its own counsel by comparison — satin silver, built with a roller detail for effortless adjustment, its surface finished with a fine etched diamond texture that catches the light without ever trying to steal the scene. Not only is the upper leather full grain quality, the lining is too, so that same integrity runs all the way through the belt rather than stopping at the surface. Every belt is still handcrafted in our small Spanish atelier, where a small team takes real care over touches like this rather than rushing them through. At 40mm this is a belt built for jeans, and it might just be the single easiest way I know to lift denim from ordinary to considered. Wear it with any casual trouser when you want people to clock that you're paying attention — quietly, the way the best of them always did.

Exactly what was promised

I ordered 2 of these, black and brown, with 3 buckles, gold, silver and one rather ornate one. the order arrived and i now have a complete "arsenal" of belts and buckles to fit every outfit. the leather is silky smooth and soft, exactly as promised, both lining and outer are full grain. being my first full grain belts i am excited to see how they develop in time!
