Description

When we first came up with this design I could immediately see how its balance of intricacy and airiness would make it a buckle that would not only stand out but also be versatile for any number of occasions. The chain maille effect gives a certain contemporary gothic feel to the buckle and I like the way the colour of the belt will poke through from underneath to act as a backdrop to the detail. On one hand this buckle can be used casually, on the other its delicate sculptural nature I believe also lends itself well to eveningwear styles, a buckle that can really be the focal point of an outfit.

How it's made
Buckle making remains a remarkably traditional skill with most of our designs initially crafted by hand in wax before being melted away to create a mould from which we can cast your buckle. Once cast the buckle is then sent away for the galvanic process which gives it its colour and then any additional details such as enamel or crystals are applied by hand. Whether being made in Italy, France, Mexico, USA or the UK the techniques used remain the same.

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
