All the way back in 2009 we had a fortuitous meeting with sculptress Marcela Ganly whose body of work focuses predominantly on the animal world. However, our mutual passion for belts inspired us to try and adapt her wonderful sculpting skills and our design experience to suit the rather smaller format of a belt buckle. Several months and many trips to the foundry later we came up with our first collection of bronze and Silver Plated buckles, each one limited edition signed and numbered. This buckle is a slight sidestep away from our usual style and instead dabbles with the world of music - focusing on the fluid curved form of the guitar. Like all of Marcela's designs this buckle has the most wonderful 3 dimensional feel that is truly lifelike, you almost feel like the guitar is in your hands! The bronze finish has been hand patinated to give it extra character and a nice antique feel. It makes for a statement buckle, especially if you are a music fan, that will always draw admiring looks and truly looks like a work of art.
