Here at Elliot Rhodes we have always been fond of our mock croc effect belts. This incarnation takes us all the way back to when we started out and after a brief hiatus it is now back in all its glory! As with so many of our mock croc belts this belt in its deep rich Pinot Noir colour has the wonderful advantage of a range of lighter and darker tones which when added to the texture with its mix of smooth flank, raised spines and darker veins gives the belt some real character and depth. When choosing a buckle for this belt we looked for a style that would replicate in some way the uneven texture of the leather and with this centre prong design with its beaten almost molten surface we think we have done just that. The buckle has a nice weight to it but does not appear heavy, rather it is more a frame for the leather below. So, If you are looking for a belt to wear with Denim or for smart casual wear this would be an excellent choice, its tonal mix making it really flexible for matching with all sorts of outfits in Blues, Black, Greys and Earthy tones.
