Our Powder Sky python is one of those rare things — a skin so full of colour, lightness and life that it makes you feel better just looking at it. The pale blue of the ground shifts and gives way to vivid lime green and teal as the natural markings move across the strap, the fine python scales catching the light with every movement. It is airy, joyful and completely captivating — and while it feels like pure summer, it is far too good to put away in September.Python skin has a quality that no other material can match — the fine overlapping scales creating a surface of extraordinary complexity and beauty that shifts as the light changes. At 40mm the full drama of the Powder Sky skin is on display, the colours moving across the width of the strap in a way that feels entirely natural, entirely unrepeatable. Every belt is unique. This particular arrangement of blue, green and teal exists nowhere else in the world.The buckle is one of my favourites — an aged gold frame style with a softly irregular square form and a beautifully hammered surface. Imperfect perfection, as I like to think of it. The organic, uneven shape gives it a warmth and character that a precise, machined buckle simply couldn't deliver, and the way it frames the python beneath it — open, unfussy, allowing the full width of the skin to breathe — feels exactly right. The aged gold picks up on the warmer tones in the skin, tying everything together without effort.This is a belt for both men and women, and for far more occasions than you might expect.
