Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

Most black belts are, let's be honest, a little boring. Functional, forgettable, doing a job. This is not that belt.The Preminger was created for the man who needs a smart black belt but refuses to settle for the obvious. And like the movies directed by its namesake — film director Otto Preminger, the man behind Anatomy of a Murder and The Man with the Golden Arm — there is a reveal here you might not be expecting. The Adria leather is a beautiful pebble grain, supple and full of quiet character, the fine grain catching the light with a richness that flat leather simply cannot match. In black it is sleek and authoritative. But look closer and there it is — a hand-stitched cross stitch running along both edges in dark red, each little cross placed with care and precision, the contrast just enough to lift the whole belt into something genuinely considered. You might not notice it immediately. And then you do, and you cannot stop looking at it.For the buckle I've gone with a sleek satin gunmetal prong — its fluted, sculpted edge giving it a fluid, almost architectural quality that feels completely in tune with the rest of the belt. The dark metal against the black leather creates a tone on tone effect that is quietly sophisticated, the buckle adding its own layer of detail without ever competing with the stitching beneath it.This is a belt for smart casual dressing at its most considered — an evening out, a jacket and jeans, a suit that deserves something a little more interesting than the standard. Not for the most formal of occasions, but for everything else — absolutely.This is not just a belt. Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
