Embossing Information

We are pleased to be able to offer an embossing service so that you can personalise your belts or accessories. Having your initials discreetly embossed adds a classy finishing touch and of course if you are buying something as a gift then adding initials is really lovely detail.

So...a few things to know about our embossing service :

What can I emboss?

You are able to emboss up to 3 initials without spaces/punctuation. For the moment we cannot emboss numbers or dates but hope to be able to offer this service soon.

Font type / Size

Our letters are UPPERCASE in Times New Roman font - the font is 6mm high

What items can I emboss?

Any belt and most accessories can be embossed subject to space. We can emboss on both plain or textured leather (so either on the inside or outside) but please bear in mind that if we emboss on textured leather there is a chance that you will see small breakage lines in the foil due to the uneven nature of the surface.

What positions can I have my items embossed in?

Belts can be embossed in 2 different positions, either towards the tip end of the belt or close to the buckle end. The Initials can be embossed in either landscape or portrait orientation. All of these options will be offered when adding personalisation to your cart. By default we emboss on the INSIDE of belts. If you would like us to emboss on the OUTSIDE please let us know this in the customer comment section and we will do our best to accommodate dependent on leather type)

For accessories due to the variety of permutations we have to use our best judgement as to where to place the emboss. When adding personalisation to your cart you will have the option to select to have the embossing either inside or outside. Our embossing specialist will then use his discretion to select the best location for embossing.

How much does it cost?

We offer a standard price of £15 for up to 3 letters.

How long will this take?

If you choose to have initials added to one of your purchases please allow 7 days from the date of order for the item to be ready for shipment. 

Exchange/Refund/Returns

Once an item is personalised it unfortunately cannot be exchanged or refunded. We can of course still shorten any belt style that is too large.

Description

Looking for a belt that is elegant yet shows off both handcraftsmanship as well as your taste for individuality? Our new Preminger style ticks those boxes and more. This style is named in homage to ground-breaking film director Otto Preminger whose creativity and willingness to challenge the taboos of 1950's Hollywood set him apart from the crowd. In our small way that is what we have set out to do that with this belt design. Taking something relatively simple, a dark indigo toned belt, but challenging the norm, adding detail that we believe enhances the belt whilst setting a new standard for what a classic belt should be. The belt is first hand burnished to bring forth rich tonality in the leather before having repeating cross stitch detail in a contrast paler blue tone applied entirely by hand to give the belt a sophisticated artisanal charm. The look of the belt is then further enhanced by the addition of a sleek ridged buckle in a completely unique blue satin finish. The buckle design is great but the colour match is what makes this truly different, a blue toned belt all the way! Worn even with a simple navy trouser this belt is elegant but all this wonderful the detail gives you, the wearer, a greater sense of individual style that will truly make you stand out from the crowd. Enjoy wearing this belt...and think of Otto when you do!

Delivery & Returns

Delivery

Orders made by midday BST will be despatched the same working day. Orders placed after this time will be dispatched on the next working day.

Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday (with the exception of Public Holidays) and delivered on working days.
