Fancy a studded belt that has a bit of glamour to it? Then the newest iteration of our 'Raft' design with its Swarovski crystal encrusted buckle is just shouting for attention! We have been gradually building our collection of embellished, studded belts. 'Raft' first debuted back in 2019 and brought a new design element that immediately made it stand out from its predecessors. This season it arrives in a great new London Fog colourway that once lasered reveals a brown tone below, giving a really cool two tone belt design. To make 'Raft' we start with a lovely vegetable tanned unlined leather which is first lasered to create the paisley cut-outs, before then being lasered again to create a textured burn out effect that leaves a 'relief' two tone effect of paisley detail. At this stage the leather is then washed to pre-age it and finally the waves of antique silver and brass studs are added by hand. When it came to choosing a buckle we wanted to give the belt some subtle glamour so opted to use our beaten texture prong buckle with its smattering of Swarovski crystals. The aged gold finish and hint of sparkle add a different dimension to the belt that leaves it suitable not just for casual daywear but for evenings too! The end result? A belt that is full of charm and style with a distinct vintage, boho, rock inspired edge to it - this belt could be worn with denim of course, will naturally match up with black and grey but also with any number of neutral earthy tones and for ladies would look great over a sweater or dress. Definitely a belt that is full of character and ideal for bringing even the simplest of outfits to life!
