There is nothing quite like a genuine python leather belt. Hard as we try to imitate this with normal leather the depth of colour, unique scale like texture and the supple feel is something truly special and unique. Of course, as a luxury product it also benefits from being coloured and painted entirely by hand, a process which epitomizes all that is wonderful about an artisanally crafted product like this where the focus is on the end result rather than the time taken to achieve it. This particular belt with its matt finish benefits from a subtle 2 tone effect with the rich Rusty brown tone dominant and slightly paler veins acting as the contrast around the scales. It's a subtle belt that is very classy so we've opted on this occasion we have to leave the focus very much on the belt itself - so our buckle choice is a tad more conservative but that does not mean boring. This slimline prong design sleekly follow the line of the belt giving it a crisp clean look, but most importantly our use of a matt gunmetal buckle is what sets this apart. The matt effect works perfectly with the leather below, whereas the greyish black gunmetal finish picks up on the darkest tones in the leather to give the belt a really deep, rich tonal look. You end up with a superb belt that is really special...but to my mind really versatile as well. Easy to wear casually with denim but equally at easy for a smarter look.
